Thanksgiving, Part II

I guess Jerry enjoyed the first Thanksgiving so much that he couldn't wait a whole year for another one.  Whatever his reasoning, he asked me to cook another Thanksgiving dinner for us.  At first I told him NO WAY!  But then I thought about it and realized that between having company and traveling I hadn't taken the time to teach Will anything about why we celebrate Thanksgiving.  So I decided to give in and have Thanksgiving, Part II.  I cooked dinner, we watched some Charlie Brown Thanksgiving clips on YouTube, and I put Jerry in charge of figuring out a way to make Mayflower ships for Will to sail in the bathtub.  I wanted to incorporate a craft to reinforce the learning but Will doesn't like simply cutting and coloring.  I knew though that sailing a ship in the bathtub would be his kind of thing.

Jerry had the great idea of using egg cartons for the hull of the ships!
After we added a few pennies as passengers and stabilizers
the ships sailed great (until the sea got too rough)!
