Tasting the Ornaments

Yesterday we used salt dough to make an ornament for Will's Christmas tree.  Apparently he did not believe me when I told him the resulting ornaments (which admittedly looked a lot like cookies) weren't edible because he got out of bed last night to taste them!  Apparently he only licked one because none of them were damaged.  He told me this morning they were gross.  : )

Here are the ornaments Will couldn't resist tasting!  Though they do look like
cookies, they were actually intended to be coins representing
Mary and Joseph's trip to Bethlehem to pay taxes.
