Today we started our countdown to Christmas using our candy Christmas tree and ornament crafts. First we read the portion of the Christmas story where the angel Gabriel comes to Mary. Then we made a felt angel ornament and decorated it with glitter glue. After it dried (at least a little) we added the ornament to Will's Christmas tree and removed one piece of candy, which was Will's favorite part of course!
We also made a necklace and bracelet for Grandma Margie today for Christmas. Will did well threading the beads but lost interest before it was finished. Oh well, I guess a necklace was a bit ambitious for his age!
