Happy Birthday to Jesus

For Will right now, birthdays are all about birthday parties.  So of course Jesus needed an actual birthday party too.  We invited Lindsay, Natalee, and Brady over to have dinner and decorate cupcakes. 

Lindsay baked some really delicious cupcakes that we iced with cream cheese icing.

Will piled on the sprinkles, of course!

From this angle you can't see all the sprinkles but they were really piled high!

Then we had a picnic in front of the Christmas tree to make dinner
more party-like.  Can you tell Lindsay and I were taking photos at
the same time from different angles?  The kids didn't know where to look!  Oops!
Maybe Lindsay ended up with some better pictures I can borrow from her blog!

I had to add this one.  Lindsay had to remind Will to put his food in his
mouth before posing for the picture!  It also reminded me of one of Will's
favorite "jokes."  "Excuse me, sir.  Did you know you have some
food hanging out of your mouth?"

We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus with Will spontaneously
pointing heavenward.

Will took this picture of us.  He had been so cooperative with me taking
pictures that I couldn't tell him no when he asked to take my picture.  (I was just a
bit nervous about handing over my nice camera - but he did well.)

clean-up crew!
