I decorated outside on one of the nice warm days we had recently. I somehow ended up finding an extra set of lights so I decided to put them in the maple tree out front. I just strung them randomly around in the tree on whichever branches I could reach with my little pole.
I got a really good laugh when we came home from Walmart after dark and I saw the "Partridge in a Pear Tree" I inadvertently created!

Can you see my bird? Had I used pink lights it could have been a flamingo!!
(But then there is already a lighted flamingo in town!) |
