Talking with Your Mouth Open

Will was jumping off the couch today and apparently bit his lip a little when he landed.  So he got back up on the couch, told me he had bit his lip a little, and then held his mouth open while saying "I'm iong oo eep eye outh oen when i am umping o I on't ite I ip again"  (I am going to keep my mouth open when I am jumping so I don't bite my lip again)

It was hilarious!!

That's Not Hilarious

Will was jumping onto the couch. When I laughed at him he looked over at me and said "Thats not hilarious mommy!"

Will Earned his First Quarter

Last night I asked Will if he wanted to help me pick up his toys around the house and he said no.  Then I asked him if he would like to earn a quarter by picking up his toys.  He thought for a second and then got a thoughtful look on his face and said "if I earn a quarter can I use it to buy something?"  I told him yes, he could add it to the little bit of money he had left from grandma and he could buy something.  He promptly and happily got up and helped me pick up his toys.

Jerry was proud - he earned his first quarter before he turned three - but Jerry thought I should have started at a dime instead!!

Combing Will's Hair

I tried to comb Wills hair as he was standing- he fell over.  I asked him to stand back up, please.  He thinks for a second, then says "But my feet need a break."

Playday

Will, Natalee, and Brady playing together at the Community Center play day today.

Bless Myself

Will sneeezed today and then said "Bless myself!" 

He was not asking me to say bless you, he just took care of it himself!

Earning Money

When Jerry walked in from work today the first thing Will said was "You don't look like you earned much money today!"

We hadn't even talked about anything remotely like that today!

Curbs

Will asked "Mommy, why do these bowls have curbs?", as he was pointing to the blue stripe around the edge!
