September 2015

Poor Solomon after he lost his manliness.  Josie was relieved!
I was impressed by how willing he was to wear his collar
even though he could hardly lift it!

A fun time at the beach at Raystown Lake.

Just a beautiful, dew covered spider web in the front yard.
Mom and Tom came up and we went shooting at the Shenecoy Range.
It's a beautiful view up there.

One last fishing trip for the summer.

August 2015

Mom, Tom, and granddad came up and we rented a pontoon boat for the day.
It was beautiful weather and we all had a great time!
Sadly, this was the only catch of the day.
Will loved riding the tube - even though he got flipped over at the end of the day.

I missed the best photo op just a few seconds later when they lost balance and
flipped over!
Will fell asleep trying on my hat - he was worn out!  : )
Granddad stayed with us for almost two weeks afterward so he could
go to the fair with us.  We enjoyed some fishing while he was here,
and really enjoyed having him stay.
We didn't have much luck - just a catfish.  Yuck!

Jenny and Brittney came the day granddad left - we stayed so busy
this month!  : )  We went to Belleville to look around and I was
surprised to find these suspenders for sale at Peight's market -
they  reminded me of dad's!
Then the Whitehall Store had Raleigh's Salve for sale!  I haven't seen
this stuff since I was a kid (and I smelled it before I even saw it
on the shelf)!  Dad swore by this stuff!!
Brittney wanted to go kayaking.  Jenny did NOT, but she went for Brittney.
Now that's love!

Will started to get the hang of diving by the end of the summer.  : )

Then mom and Kristen came to visit.  : )
Kristen and Will built some "boats" from wood chunks.

Success!  They floated!
We took Sis up to feed the carp at Raystown Lake Marina.
We took Will to the driving range to work on his swing.
He's been enjoying hitting balls in the back yard.

Then we went for a round of put-put.
Our last play date before school started - we planned on a trip
to DelGrosso's but they were closed.  Instead we went
to Canal Basin Park in Altoona which had an
awesome playground!

The first day of second grade!  How time flies!

July 2015

Dumping Will from the hammock at the July 4th picnic at granddad's house.

Roasted marshmallows!  : )
Will took first place in his heat at swim championships.  He really enjoyed
swim team this summer and came away with quite a few ribbons.
Mom and grandma were able to come see Will swim too - it was great!
Mom came to visit!  : )

Will's half birthday part - we had a few friends over for some fun on
the inflatable water slide.  Very low-key and enjoyable.

Entertainment for a hot summer day - catching minnows at the river in town.

June 2015

Will and Grace baking banana bread.

We spent a day working in the garden at Tom's farm.  It was such a beautiful day!!

Will got to ride in the tractor.

This is my FAVORITE picture!!!  Priceless!

This section of the garden was roped off just for Will.

Uncle Tommy took Will fishing at Douthat State Park.

Will showing off his catch of the day.

We took Solomon with us kayaking on Raystown lake.  It stressed
him out that Will wasn't in the same kayak with us.

Perry let us go fishing at his pond, and Will had the biggest catch....
he hooked grandma right above the eye!
